Asian Salmon Chopped Salad

It is bright, fresh, and layered with flavour thanks to the Taylor Farms Asian Chopped Kit, which makes every bite crunchy, colourful, and full of life. The warm, caramelised salmon paired with the cool freshness of the salad is absolute perfection.

🧄 A simple marinade with big flavour

Start by chopping your garlic and placing it into a ziplock bag. Add the salmon, pour in the coconut aminos, and seal everything up.

This marinade works its magic in the fridge for 1 to 24 hours. The longer it sits, the deeper the flavour. If you are short on time, even an hour works beautifully.


🔥 Searing the salmon

Heat the oil in a skillet. A cast‑iron skillet works wonderfully here. Remove the salmon from the marinade and leave the liquid in the bag. Place the salmon skin side down in the hot pan.

Season with salt and pepper, then sear both sides over medium to high heat until golden.

Now pour the coconut aminos marinade into the skillet, turn the heat to low, and let the salmon finish cooking for about 1 minute on each side or until it flakes easily.


🥗 Toss, shred, enjoy

While the salmon cooks, empty the Taylor Farms Asian Chopped Kit into a large bowl and toss to combine all those fresh, crunchy components.

Once the salmon is done, remove it from the pan. Use a fork to shred it into tender bite sized pieces, then fold it gently through the salad.
